With news this last week that one of my top five paper companies, Scenic Route, is closing down (make that top 3!) I was wondering what your favourites were?

I always liked Daisy D's (who also shut down), Junkitz (also defunct), as well as Scenic Route (SOB), Chatterbox (not sure what they're doing these days), Sassafrass Lass and Making Memories (thankfully both appear to be still going strong).

I wasn't too keen on Basic Grey to begin with, but some of their lines I love.

The companies whose stuff I consistently love now, apart from Making Memories and Sassafrass Lass, include Webster's, Pink Paislee and October Afternoon.

How about you?

I would say mine would be Kaiser and basic grey.

Thanks for joining in Chris!

Kaiser sure put out a lot! I love how diverse they are!

And Basic Grey - some of my favourite papers ever. I loved the Urban Couture and Lollipop lines, and I love the Lemonade line out right now!

I don't think I've ever even seen Bella! Can you point me to a layout?

Is a shame about Scenic Route - I have just had a look on their website and they are having a closeout sale so if there are any particular lines you liked let me know...

Chtterbox and 7 Gypses are now together under the name of Ultrapro and also EK success and K&C have teamed up together.

Bella is owned by Fynmark and I am in the process of setting up an account with them.

My fav papers at the moment would have to be Websters Pages, Graphic 45 and I love the Prima Stitched papers - my order should be here soon for Prima it has taken a very long time.

I love the look of Websters but I find them really hard to use. I've also found the same thing with Graphic 45 - but I love what other people do with them - must just be outside my comfort zone lol.

I don't really have favs, as I buy what I need for whatever project I am working on.. if you said i could only ever buy from 3 again though, it would have to be:

Stampin' Up
Kaiser
Basic Grey (some, not all)

But that would be pushing it...lol...

I also like the Basic Grey 'plain patterned paper' (as Ali calls it!) instead of cardstock!

Julie, I'd love the Garden Grove range from Scenic Route! I also like Sonoma and heaps of the old stuff too. The scrap strips are great in any of the ranges - so much diversity on the one piece of PP gives lots of options.

Yes, funnily enough I wasn't that into BoBunny, but their recent stuff looks fabulous!
