I've been thinking about this for a while now. Actually documenting all the techniques we use on our layouts in relation to our flower embellys. Now I spend the whole day scrapping and no housework :) just thought 'forget it' and just relax and have fun. I also did some experiment and have started looking at my past layouts and how or what I did in relation to spicing up my flowers.

So here we go

Technique one

I was working on a layout of my cousins little girl in the UK. Her name is Angelice. I plan to do one of the the three girls... Kayle, Melodie and Angelice. I just need to add the journalling n the right hand side....
I used all sorts of flowers and one particular one which is top right of the photo is the one I will start off with.

This is a work in progress

I must have been tired in my last post cos it doesn't really explain much lol:D

Anyway starting 1 Oct 09 and for the rest of the month I will be posting a "flower a day: A month full of techniques of how to add extra interest and pezzazz to your flowers. I will be using chipboard and silk flowers plus a few other surprises in store...

Technique 1. Starts Friday next week 1st October
The first flower will finish off the layout I posted earlier of Angelice.

So stay tuned and watch this space

Try a little bit of Derivan kindyglitz on your petals. Just squeeze little drops along the petals. I used pink on this flower, and placed a pearl brad in the centre. There are a number of various colours in store now. http://www.scrapofyourlife.com.au/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=297
