I was trimming some of my 12x12 paper to fit into an 8x8 scrapbook
but now I have all these pieces of perfectly good strips that I don't
know what to do with. They're 4x12 and 4x8 pieces of various patterned
paper. I don't want to throw them out because that'd be a waste.
Hi MarcyOne!
I totally agree - I always keep scraps bigger than about 2x2 inches!
My suggestions are:
1. Make them into cards! They are the perfect size!
2. Make them into 4x6 mats, read for slightly cropped photo!
3. Make them into 4x4 mats, ready for cropped photos - you can easily do a grid-design page.
4. Stitch 4 4x12 strips together to make a funky bit of background cardstock!
Hope these ideas help!
Hey great ideas Moi - particularly like the idea of stitching the strips together.
Another idea is to swap strips with your friends and then you get a whole lot of different paper to use :)

All great ideas girls. I keep all my scraps in a box and I usually use them up on cards to, or when the time comes on another layout.
If they are light enough maybe journal on them using your printer.
Use them to make scrapbook tags, punch outs, or photo corners
There are also a couple of good ideas here
