Sticking ribbon to a page

Something I learned shortly after I began using ribbon on my layoutS:

Stick your tape on the page where you want the ribbon to go - and then add the ribbon on top.

It is so much easier. I'm glad I learnt this tip early. Saves a lot of tangles and trouble!

Sounds obvious but I wouldnt have thought to do it!!!???

No I;ve never done it like that and boy have had some run ins with sticky double sided tape and ribbon etc. Putting the tape on the ribbon makes much better sense.
