There are only a couple more places left for first ever @Home | Away weekend retreat at Sunsets At The Bay resort Salamander Bay, NSW. To take place in November 09.

Hey have you signed up for the classes yet?
I am really keen to do Mardi's, but I'm not big on mini-books - having said that I think I'll sign up for all three classes anyway because I might not get a chance like that for a while!

I still haven't decided about the workshops - definitely want to do Mardi and Kim's so I figure I will just do Janelle's as well even though I, too, would prefer LOs over mini books.

I like the texture mini and the seasons sound good so might book in for those two. I want to spend time doing my US trip layouts as well. Not long to go now

Can't believe it's come up so quickly - it's going to be so much fun :)

Ooh Julie those packs sound good! I'm really looking forward to meeting IRL lol.

I ended up signing up for Mardi and Kim's workshops. Thought I should save some time for lolling by the pool or perhaps free scrapping!!

I've been getting ready tonight as in trying to pic photos. get it lol....:D
I've been thinking hard about the lil book of texture and am going to do it for Aimee DD. A photo of her grown up on the front with other pics of her growing up inside. Or a bubby photo on front and ending with the grown up one at the end..... oH decisions, decisions

Looking forward to meeting you both cant wait

Today is the day - yay! Moi and I are are hitting the highway this morning!

For my mini book I decided to use pics of the my kids visiting their NZ cousins in April this year and I'll give it to their grandma - she'll love it :) Your idea for your daughter sounds perfect Julie.

Can't wait to have a toast by the pool - see you tomorrow!!

oh be gosh - i have just finished packing up my scrap stuff. Had DD over for dinner tonigh - but is was ok as DH cooked while i got organised. Not a good time to though but I kept popping up an down while iw as gettng stuff ready.

Anyway sooooooo looking forward to it all cant wait to meet you both and drive safe.

And the best news is Kim just told me that next year is definitely on - start saving those pennies girls - we're going back!!

It was a great weekend - it was so lovely to meet you both. It gave so much inspiration. I can't wait to try some of these new techniques..

Ditto Ali! I enjoyed our roadtrip - company is everything. Glad I wasn't too bad even though I woke you up with my shouting in my sleep!!!

I will definitely go next year! Julie I am also quite inspired! I've been using up some of my fabric scraps making yoyos and layered flowers!
